“Pain is not wrong. Reacting to pain as wrong initiates the trance of unworthiness. The moment we believe something is wrong, our world shrinks and we lose ourselves in the effort to combat the pain.” Tara Brach
I am a Greek licensed psychologist and an Integrative/Humanistic (Person-Centred) Psychological Counsellor (PGDip, BACP & UKCP accredited course) with a BA in Psychology and an MA in Psychosocial Intervention. Having lived in Spain, the UK, and now residing in Berlin, I empathize with the challenges faced by individuals from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. Previously, I worked on humanitarian projects in Greece and at Bristol City Council's care homes, where I supported children with developmental trauma. These experiences have been invaluable for both my professional and personal development, providing me with a unique perspective that I apply in my work.
During my practice as a therapist in the UK (NAOS charity and private practice), I worked with individuals who experienced developmental and sexual trauma, anxiety, dysphoria, as well as those seeking to better understand their relationships with themselves and others.
My passion for counselling and therapy is deeply rooted in my desire to continuously learn about myself and the world. I am mindful of the contexts and systems we all live in, and I genuinely care about creating a warm, non-judgmental, and empowering space for you to explore and understand yourself. In this process, I believe everyone has their unique rhythm and pace, which I am committed to following and respecting at all times.
Hopefully, this will be a safe space for you to explore and understand your thoughts, emotions, and experiences, empowering you to make the changes you wish. Together, we can work towards your personal growth, empowerment, and emotional well-being.
